Rosa Banksia Alba Plena rose
Rosa Banksia Alba Plena rose is a delightful, classy rambling rose that blooms with large clusters of dainty, fragrant, but highly attractive small double flowers.
It has a very vigorous, healthy, and thornless growth and would do well in a sunny but sheltered position.
Flowering in the late springtime.
Like all of the Banksiae varieties, the Rosa Alba Plena rose can flower in the first year but may take a few years to flower once well established, so you will need to prune/shape if needed after flowering in summer.
Our Rosa Banksia plants available for sale are grown in un-heated greenhouses until February/March and will require similar protection from frosts and cold wet weather in their first year.
Please continue to protect & grow on any Banksia plants ordered in a cold greenhouse until there is no further risk of frosts and warmer weather returns before planting outside into the final position checking carefully also that the plant has fully rooted.
