Patio Pot / Container

There is always room for a rose in a pot. A lovely way to fill up some pots with roses that will keep pleasing you for many years to come, without having to continually replace other more colourful plant options such as bedding.

Planting roses in containers is a fantastic idea, they can be placed near doorways and on patios - they can also be moved around the garden in different areas.

Roses should be planted in a deep pot with a minimum diameter of 50cm wide but the taller the rose the larger the pot should become. Plant roses into containers into a compost that is specifically for roses (we recommend John Innes #3).

If you have larger pots you are wishing to fill, you might want to view the Large Containers/Half Barrels category which is larger roses suited to larger containers.
