Highgrove rose
Highgrove rose is a splendid strong red climbing rose with large full deep cupped crimson blooms that also have some black toning to the outer petals giving a deep velvet appearance and texture to the flowers.
Blooms are formed in clusters of up to 10 per plant and are well displayed on upright thick stems.
With age, blooms can take on a deep magenta hue.
A nice and neat climbing rose that does not get too carried away making it easy to maintain and good for fences, pillars and obelisks and for training around and over feature areas like front doors.
Healthy with good disease resistance with healthy mid-green foliage.
Good rose fragrance.
