Rosa Banksia Normalis rose

Blooming with masses of single flowers, the Rosa Banksiae Normalis is a rambling rose that comes in beautiful shades of cream and white, with pale yellow stamens on lush gloss green thornless disease resistant growth.

With early spring flowering, this is a strong grower, rapidly producing strong long stems with a more vigorous habit than Rosa Banksiae Lutea. It may not flower until well established, and needs to be planted in a sheltered, protected and sunny position. Only available as a potted rose.

Our Rosa Banksia plants available for sale are currently still being grown in un-heated greenhouses and will require similar protection from frosts and cold wet weather in their first year (as currently being experienced around the UK). Please continue to protect & grow on any Banksia plants ordered in May in a cold greenhouse until June when there is no further risk of frosts and warmer weather returns before planting outside into the final position checking carefully also that the pot has fully rooted.
