Ground Cover Roses

Ground Cover roses are a type of rose that offer lots of different planting options. Left in the border they creep across the ground spreading out which makes them a fantastic option for filling sparse areas and offering colour options close to the ground, acting as a permanent replacement to bedding.

When roses are left unsupported they weep/trail, meaning that they hang down which makes them a splendid option in pots, hanging baskets or trailing over walls to add cascading colour. This trailing quality it makes them a splendid choice of rose to be grafted onto standard stems which creates large beautiful cascading trails.

The “spread”  varies between each variety so planting distance between each plant will vary depending on how much you want them to grow between each other, but leave 90cm between plants.
