The Pilgrim rose
The Pilgrim English Climbing rose is a lovely reintroduction into our collection and now classed as a true Climber rose. Quick to establish height and coverage with large full rosette shaped in a pretty lemon yellow with softer pastel edging in classic David Austin style and shape. Blooms have a good fragrance with notes of myrrh and tea. Produces blooms from low down to the top of the plant.
Blooms form singularly and in clusters. Foliage is matt green with good disease resistance, growth has an upright vigourous and arching habit that makes it suitable for arches, pillars and obelisks as well as a normal fence or trellis.
