David Austin & Shrub Roses
gardenroses.co.uk is a licenced grower of David Austin Roses - with a large selection of these beautiful roses available.
Shrub Roses have been around for many years and are often thought of as the classic shrub rose - the majority of our shrub collection are more modern varieties which have excellent health and are often scented whilst still retaining the classic charm of older varieties.
As growers of the popular David Austin roses, gardenroses.co.uk has a wide range available in our collection, many of which also have a fantastic fragrance.
Varieties chosen are those that repeat flower well throughout the summer into late autumn and offer range of colours and flower shapes. The majority of shrub roses are taller varieties with a lax habit often growing around 1.2-1.5m, some of which can also be trained into shorter growing climbers.
Shrub roses need plenty of room between each plant (leave 1.2m between each rose) and also grow well amongst other tall and herbaceous plants in borders to give a true country garden feel. Shrub roses can be grown in pots but the majority of roses will require much larger containers due to their larger nature (approx half barrel size).
